We are pleased to announce the latest release of our Content Management Application - WebLab CMS.  This release see's several new features and enhancements:

Whats new in WebLab-CMS?

CSS Overrides
You can now override a template CSS file at page level, avoiding the need for duplicated templates and offering the web designer finite control over page appearance.

Page Redirection
If you need to redirect a page in your WebLab site map to another, or to a completely different site, this feature is for you.  The redirect avoids the need to load the page first and then 'link out' from there.

Secure Areas
The largest addition to the product, Secure Areas allows you to mark single pages or complete sections of your website as secure.  Using a flexible 'Member Control Area' section, you simply tick the pages you want to make secure and publish your site.

WebLab handles the security behind the secure sections, offering users 'Login' and 'Registration' dialogues if they try to access as secure page and they are not logged in.

In addition, WebLab allows unlimited 'Members Areas', allowing you to control your subscribed members to have access to all, or a selection of your secure content.  This is then linked into the existing 'Marketing Module', available in all version of WebLab 'Standard' or above making eMarketing a dream. 

Whats new in WebLab Commerce?

The eCommerce module within WebLab (Enterprise Edition as standard) has been improved in several areas:

Better Product Addition Speed
The delay between adding Categories and Related Categories to a product sometimes proved too slow on slower internet connections.  This has been re-written to allow the shop owner to set these options without the need to postback to the server, so making the process much quicker overall.

Improved Shopping Basket & Login Pages
The whole 'Login/Registration' process has now been improved, allowing cleaner login pages within the shop.

International & Multiple Shipping Options
WebLab eCommerce now offers multiple shipping options for your customers at point of checkout.  Unlimited shipping providers can be added to any shop, all of which are offered to the customer during the payment process.

This allows the shop owner to add features such as 'Next Day', 'Overnight', 'Standard Shipping' etc, all with different pricing structures.

In addition, you can now mark a shipping option as 'International', meaning this product is intended for export.  In this case, WebLab automatically removes the local taxation on the final checkout price, allowing simple export and tax exemption to be applied.
